Are you Greeks, Turks, or CYPRIOTS...... You CAN'T be Both!!!

Until you sort that fundimental question out, .....Your stuck in a never ending circle for ever and a day!!!!

You can be a Gc / Tc / Greek or turk as far as i know.........

You can even be all four. Bloody hell. God help us all.

You heard the joke,YFred???

"I am half GC and half TC...When I wake up in the morning,I want to kill myself..."

Very Funny.

We've tried the Cypriot thing, not as much love as we'd all have thought. It's slowly become a belief of the "yesterday man" to coin an earlier used phrase on the forum.
Show me the love and then maybe there could be a C rather than TC and GC....

If that's the case .... Then they are there own worst enemies!! They will still be moaning and talking about it for the next 35 or so years.... It has nothing to do with love as such, Just basic commonsense!! There letting others outside of there own country dictate what they want, instead of telling the pair of them to clear off, and we'll sort ourselves out... But not while they keep sticking the G and the T before the C, and it's the C that is the ALL Important bit to both.....

Too true. The T part and G part have to be sensitive to the concerns and show understanding of the other, no dice yet however. We just had Paphidis going on about bringing Israel onside to help with leverage - maximalist political mascinations that enforce the status quo.

I think Europe has washed there hands of the problem!! It's unsolvable while the Cypriots are at each other throats over the most trivial of matters, that they can dream up..... Any other country getting involved, is ultimately going to make things even worse... Who in there right mind would involve themselves in this can of worms?? ....Unless of course there is some form of pay day at the end...haha!!!

The EU washed their hands of Cyprus from day one and clearly stated its should be a UN problem so the gcs should not expect an eu miracle it aint gonna happen.

There is: oil ... not the kind that comes from grinding olives, the other kind, the petrochemical variety. I kid you not.

But there are other kinds of indirect pay day too. Oil is not the only factor.

IF, ....there is oil, then it's going to be ''expensive'' oil. Meaning it's too expensive to get it out, or there would of been some activitly long before now with oil prices being what they are these days!!!

Sure there are other kinds Pay Day's, ....indirect or otherwise. Isn't there always???
