WHO IS CONTROLING THE DESTROY OF GREEK FLAGS IN CYPRUS?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Yeah, ....I can understand that, ....''Real Cypriot'' with a bloody Greek flag as his avatar!!!! Perhaps the poor man's confused as to what country he actually lives in, and pays his taxes too!!

Yialoser doesn't know what planet he's on, let alone country.

The known-unknown lowered the Greek flag that stood beside the war memorial and missing of our community (Emba - Paphos) tore it up on and threw on the ground. Please note that the Cypriot flag was left intact.

Supposedly our friends who tore it up and left the flag of the Republic of Cyprus is not aware that the hero, Christopher George fought for this flag?

It's time to put a police officer or to find out who frequented there. Make some moves to protect the monument.

As locals, we demand from our current leaders to take the necessary measures in order to stop the desecration done to the monument.

...when seven flags fly from the masts of our Parliament
...when in Cyprus we sing a National Anthem that is unique
because it is ours, when as Greeks and Turks we change to
lead all the "Greeks" and "Turks" out of their malise, with
good examples, i can only hope a Cypriot flag flies higher
till then, it is sadness that flags are torn .

yialousa1971,

Please tell me, the reasoning behind your original post, ....and your personal post data block. I'm at a total loss at the logic behind your avatar (a Greek Flag) and your statement '' A real Cypriot'' ???
Have you some sort of personal identity crisis?? ....Have you never thought of moving back to Greece if indeed you ever came from there in the first place.

Remember where you live, and where you were probably born.... Those Greek flags do NOT belong here, they should all be taken down, along with the Turkish flags. The Only Legitimate flags that should be flying anywhere, and especially on official buildings and monuments, is the Cypriot flag and the EU flag...

If you feel that strongly about the Greek flag flying high, perhaps a relocation to Greece is in your best interest.... But remember ...the country is well and truly Bust right now so i doubt if any of those Greek flags are flying too high, even in Greece!!!!

And especially since they're all made in China anyway.

Did you parents not teach you anything about respecting other flags with a legitimate reason to fly?
