I think Anorthosis will progress to the 3rd Qualifying round of the Champions League by knocking out Trabzonspor.

Trabzonspor may still be able to pass through to the next round if they secure a 2-0 victory over Anorthosis in the match next week. Trabzonspor really sucked in the match (ball possesion was mainly on the Anorthosis side). The fans who came to support Trabzonspor were not even real turks and did you see them on the stands. Most of them had a mixture of Fenerbahche, Galatasaray, Beshiktas shirts. On the other hand next week Trabzonspor will be playing in their home stadium in front of their many thousand die-hardy Turkish fans. So there is still a big chance for Trabzonspor to pass to the next round!

I think Anorthosis letting in an away goal will make things hard for them in the next round...but that away goal was an equaliser so we dont know the outcome had Trabazonta not scored.

Anyway, even if Anorthosis dont make it through...they've still come out winners for me...considering the huge difference in size of the two clubs.

So was most of the away fans just TC coming to see a Turkish team?

The odds are not extremely favourable for Anorthosis but i will say that Anorthosis has 60% chance over Trabzonspor. Afterall dont forget that one goal for Anorthosis in Turkey will almost finish Trabzonspor. Either way im looking forward for the 2nd leg and may the best win.Hopefully Anorthosis will past to the 3rd round.

before last night, i gave anarthosis 0.5% chance. but now they have 51% chance. i think trabzon was afraid last night. the crowd must have affected them.

i was happy when trabzon beat galatasaray and had a chance to go to champions league since trabzon is an anatolian team. i had enough of istanbul teams in europe even though i am a galatasaray fan. but now i look at it, i think i was wrong, galatasaray would knock out anarthosis 5-0 last night.

is ibrahim yattara playing next game? or can he not cuz of the red card?

Yes, I'm with theg on this one. Anorthosis played better last night, sure, but even so I don't think they are the favourites to go through.
The reason being that the Turkish League is at least a couple of notches better than ours. Last night Anorthosis had everything going for them, both on- and off-pitch (except maybe the ref, from what I heard on the radio). In Turkey it's certain that they'll have none of that.
