whoever those them are it is irrelevant, really, i speak for myself.

I know that my Cyprus needs Peace. I know as a Cypriot I/i am fighting for Freedom, and as a Citizen of a larger family, of Man, i want Liberty, for all, as well. i am Greek by ethnic origin, i feel Pride for this Heritance too, and for me it includes a Turkish presence as Cypriots close to the land we care for together. (now) almost all my life has been spent in Canada, and i feel very lucky that the coincidences in my life gives me the rare perspective of living in a thriving cultural mosaic, that is Bicommunal, and one of the Freest places to live anywhere in the world, not unlike the village. as a Person, a part of a community, life had its routines, and where the sense of this lifestyle came from, a very refined system of cooperation; it was magical to believe i had a place within it, i love my trees. when vp says your past is gone, it is true, my village is(was) mixed, according to some power (i would spit on their graves) where we had to be different: there is one God, and this was brushed aside in Cyprus, to benefit those who choose/chose for their self-worth, plunder.

as a result, my family disappeared, (like many others) with not a word, and my return depends on an end to that hatred, so easily exploited as fear.

...no Lordo, the "you", as in you are surrounded, does not include us, as in you and me, i am not prepared to accept anything less than an end to The Problem, which enriches us as Human Beings; i act accordingly. you may accept some hokum a "Turk" is selling, because there are "Greeks" selling hokum to Greeks, but i say differently. and although you dance along the line, only sometimes you make me laugh, for the most part you are the "Greek" you love shamelessly with your "own" lies.

"your" side, as in keep to, really Lordo, speaks volumes, is there an "our" side, one that is neither "Greek" or "Turkish", one that is Cypriot?

in the last election, i was hoping that Akel would rally the people, their Unions and teachers to hold the Flag of Cyprus together, Turkish and Greek, but with Malas i suppose they could not have done that. Shows how much the commies have sold out, for power, they did not signal a future electors hope for, as Cypriots, looking for the "Greek" vote which they were hoping to split.
