cyprus never has and never will have nationalism, what cyprus has is Greeks and Turks

i am in search of cypriots......... but all i find is Greeks and Turks bickering and arguing who they should give cyprus to Greece or Turkey

You see no posts that say free Cyprus but with a slight guarantee just in case our GC cousins decide to rip up the agreement and join with Greece?
I've seen a few those around. Look more carefully.

to answer your question you moron i do not recognise either turkish or greek soo called cypriots .............................since you have the eyes to see soo clearly perhaps you can work out what i mean by that

Perhaps it's not glasses you need, it's a brain. Good luck.

Why not ask the Ata of the Turks?

I'm not being sarcastic, my answer is as genuinely put as the question...

OK, first of all it is not a good analogy, because;

Turks were at war with the rest of the world at the verge of being split into a dozen pieces while waking up from the great Ottoman sleep, nationalism was what saved them and it worked for the time being, it was the only way.

In the case of Cyprus, it was nationalism that divided the island, and more of it will not join us back together, it is too late for that now.

We have become 2 separate people and I do not only mean geographically.

It is not too late at all. It is the beginning.

In my eyes, it is a long way away, too far for my life time and im young.

Politically, I feel nothing but hostility from the RoC and until that is changed, I have no business with it, let alone feeling any sense of pride about the RoC, if anything, it is disgraceful and I'm glad I'm not a part of it.

And Cyprus is not in danger of being split?

No it wasn't. It was foreign imperialism, combined with local extremism; and certainly not a Cypriot nationalism but foreign, imported nationalisms.

Oh dear. Better gift a third of the island to Turkey then. No thanks.

There are three separate types of people; the third being Cypriots. And there's potentially a lot more of us.

Cyprus is divided my friend.

Foreign imperialism could not have divided people if they already were not 2 different people living together, which gave way for the to work on.

Surely the Brits saw an opportunity, or why would they even bother
