The only issue is my parents have put a doubt in my head. This is not to appear presumptious, i have never been to cyprus but my parents have. They seem to think as a pale skinned blonde female that i will find it very hard to live there due to attitudes particularly from men.

I was just curious as to know what people who have been there and or live there think? and are my parents just worrying for no reason.

Kind regards

Loise

For the love of God Loise, lets get straight to the root of your fears. No, chances are you won't get raped by a 'dark' skinned Cypriot Male, neither kidnapped and held for ransom. You might get seduced, but whether you play the game or not is entirely up to you.

This might ease your mind a little.

Oh shit,we were only joking. We are all prisoners here. They took our passports away and make us work in lapdance bars and dangerous building sites for 100 euros a month. Its not too late to change your mind and tear up your ticket !
