That’s how you get to the bottom of problems like these!

First, you need to have some kind of evidence that the former Prime Minister and his cabinet feathered their own nests by stealing from the public purse. I don't believe this is the case. PASOK would have exposed these scandals if they existed.

What does exist in Greece is widespread corruption, and nepotism which has disabled the entire country. There is also widespread tax avoidance and strong unionism.

The Government needs to address these issues, otherwise they are pissing into the wind.

Paphitis, its naïve fools like you that allow corrupt governments to exist and thrive!

What kind of a stupid excuse are you making here? :?

If a government that has served TWO CONSECUTIVE TERMS is NOT responsible for a country’s economic woes then who the hell is the United Nations? Idiot!

You’re a waste of space on this forum!

It is you who is making excuses for over 11,000,000 people who have contributed to Greece's demise. The State is not their cash cow, and neither does it owe them a living.

Greece has always had massive deficits, and this was nothing exclusive to the previous administration. Also, the current administration had more than enough opportunity to correct some things, but did not act, and some say that this administration allowed the situation to deteriorate even further so that it can obtain a free ticket to ruthless rationalization and reform.

Furthermore, I am Australian, and ALL our Governments have one thing in common. They always Govern through good times and bad for the good of the country. The people have a strong unity, and allegiance to the system that provides them with good infrastructure, health services, education and social security. Our Governments change, but the key policies always remain the same.

So Get Real, it is you that is a waste of space. It is you that behaves like an idiot on this forum, and it is you that is now in good company with other forumers who make the most unreal and ridiculous statements which are downright absurd, all under the guise of Cypriotism and all under the false pretense for being for the good of Cyprus! You are 44, and still have a lot of growing up to do!

Do you like my new AVATAR? Since there are so many ragheads around I decided to adopt it because I hate preachers sooooo MUCH. Bloody Mussos!

??? Irrelevant rubbish!

No it's not!

Blaming the whole situation on just one administration is pointless and will only lead to more disaster down the track!

This administration will need to make decisions which will hurt society so much in the short term, but is necessary to ensure Greece's long term viability and for the good of future generations of Greeks.

And one more thing. A weakened and bankrupt Greece has had a very negative impact on the Cyprus Problem. There is no point denying the fact that Greece is the RoC's most important and influential close ally. So your hysteria against a key ally, is undermining our RoC, so I ask you to pull your head in and behave in a more logical and intelligent fashion.

Heard on the radio this morning that there are 5 Greeks appearing on the UK richest millionaires list.

Perhaps they could help out.

Why should they?

The Greeks need to help themselves. Those that made lots of money in the diaspora, did it through shear hard work and sacrifice.

A complicated and concerning issue

But in this context a picture tells a thousand words
Every state that panders to the whole social entitlement, top heavy government philosophy should consider getting out of this position
