"in the north they cannot stand on two feet without turkey"
What do you expect? That only proves that the embargoes you have imposed are working.

NICOSIA – Cypriot Minister of Finance Charilaos Stavrakis has said that Cyprus is ready to offer financial aid to Greece, of around 60 million euro.

In statements Wednesday, the Minister said that Cyprus is ready to offer the above amount in the framework of the economic aid plan of the EU and the International Monetary Fund, for Greece.

''At this stage, it seems that the amount which corresponds to Cyprus is 60 million euro as a three year loan with an interest of 5%'', Stavrakis said.

He clarified that this loan does not seem to have any influence on Cyprus’ fiscal deficit, adding that “it will just affect public debt, which is estimated to be increased through this loan by approximately 0,4%”.

Stavrakis said that it is Cyprus’ duty to help Greece during this difficult time.

Asked whether there is any chance that Greece exits the Eurozone, he said “this must be considered as impossible”.

in the north there would be no trnc without financial aid from turkey and in the south we support greece

now your turn to look after your mamma Palio........when time comes north also will look after her mammaaaa !

have a look what Turkey says about your mamma !
"We do not want an economically weak Greece in our region," MFA spokesman

Spokesman of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), Burak Özügergin, said Thursday Turkey did not want an economically weak Greece in the region.
Asked about the Turkish MFA's views on the economic crisis Greece is in, Burak Özügergin said that times have changed and screens between countries, at least from an economic perspective, have been lifted.

Relations between neighbors have changed. An economic fire in your neighbor may affect you closely, Özügergin underlined.

We are in a period where economies of countries have become dependent on each other. We will either sink together or overcome the problem together, Özügergin also said.

Just as I predicted! If Cyprus doesn't wake up and disengage with corrupt Greece completely we're going down the drain with them...

Two consecutive terms of the Karamanlis government has not even been questioned for answers and they’re looking for handouts from other countries!

As I told you before, this crisis is a very unique opportunity for Greece to get its house in order. Governments are only a very small part of the total mechanisms at play which have resulted in Greece declining to its current position. The Governments of Greece have always found it difficult to Govern a society which is so destructive to their very nation. Greece always has been a free for all, and this is the core problem.

This crisis, will give Papandreou the opportunity to make just about any non populist decision he requires to save Greece. And Greece is in desperate need of a complete overhaul from the ground up.

All Cyprus has done is lend money. That's fine! Other countries within the EU have also done the same.

Take the Karamanlis government and all their associates, confiscate all their assets and bank accounts and put them in the dock for answers!

That’s how you get to the bottom of problems like these!

First, you need to have some kind of evidence that the former Prime Minister and his cabinet feathered their own nests by stealing from the public purse. I don't believe this is the case. PASOK would have exposed these scandals if they existed.

What does exist in Greece is widespread corruption, and nepotism which has disabled the entire country. There is also widespread tax avoidance and strong unionism.

The Government needs to address these issues, otherwise they are pissing into the wind.

Paphitis, its naïve fools like you that allow corrupt governments to exist and thrive!

What kind of a stupid excuse are you making here? :?

If a government that has served TWO CONSECUTIVE TERMS is NOT responsible for a country’s economic woes then who the hell is the United Nations? Idiot!

You’re a waste of space on this forum!

It is you who is making excuses for over 11,000,000 people who have contributed to Greece's demise. The State is not their cash cow, and neither does it owe them a living.

Greece has always had massive deficits, and this was nothing exclusive to the previous administration. Also, the current administration had more than enough opportunity to correct some things, but did not act, and some say that this administration allowed the situation to deteriorate even further so that it can obtain a free ticket to ruthless rationalization and reform.

Furthermore, I am Australian, and ALL our Governments have one thing in common. They always Govern through good times and bad for the good of the country. The people have a strong unity, and allegiance to the system that provides them with good infrastructure, health services, education and social security. Our Governments change, but the key policies always remain the same.

So Get Real, it is you that is a waste of space. It is you that behaves like an idiot on this forum, and it is you that is now in good company with other forumers who make the most unreal and ridiculous statements which are downright absurd, all under the guise of Cypriotism and all under the false pretense for being for the good of Cyprus! You are 44, and still have a lot of growing up to do!

Do you like my new AVATAR? Since there are so many ragheads around I decided to adopt it because I hate preachers sooooo MUCH. Bloody Mussos!
