when i went to cyprus nearly all bars would serve me with alcohol and most shops would serve alcohol and cigarettes was 13 looked around 15,
the police don't seem to care much about the driving, we rented a buggy and i was driving it all around agyia napa and protarus, past police and they never stopped me

Don't go by how old you look to others. Most British kids look much older than Cypriot kids.

Do you have parents?

Do they care?

we rented a buggy

The company you rented from should have been responsible for making sure you fulfilled the requirements to be able to rent.

Some kids just do look older than others at the same age. My 22 yr old daughter has to carry and show ID all the time as she looks about 15 yrs old. She certainly cannot get into clubs in London without proper ID - they clamped down years ago.

And plenty of Cypriot 'kids' drink in the bars and clubs here where I live in Larnaca. And they don't look anywhere near old enough to do so. I suppose it will take for a couple of the bar owners to be fined heavily for anything to change there. But PARENTS should bear the responsibility for what their 13 to 15 yr olds are up to and how late they are allowed out.

In Makarious Ave, Limassol, along the coffee bar strip, half the customers look as if they are still in school and some of these kids are out until the early hours of the morning when these establishments close. I know, I used to live there and the noise they made kept me awake!

Judging by the original post ,their parents were wondering around pi**ed in their football shirts ,quite happy their ( guess the father ) kids were out of their hair, the " Parents" must have hired the buggy..and provided the money for booze and fags....

Looking at the original post, he must have still been drunk when he wrote that, or is that the standard of education nowadays?
