Postby bsharpish » Sun Apr 25, 2010 10:23 am

"Caesar condemned a man to death. The man said he could make Caesar’s horse talk within one year and Caesar agreed to let him go if he did.

The jailer told the man it was a foolish deal impossible to meet.

The man replied that within the year Caesar might die, he might die or the horse might talk…"

Was the man a Greek?

I'm guessing that, as Greece has now officially asked for help, the post might be an oblique way of the poster saying he doesn't think they will be able to fulfil the criteria?

On the other hand ... WTF?

The money greece is borrowing MAY see it through the next 12 months.............. at which point ????

Without this loan default is certain and in 12 months what will have changed ???

Maybe horses will have learned to talk

Well they can at least make the claim to fame of being the first member of the euro zone to go cap in hand and ask for financial rescue. And the Euro is up slightly since it was announced.
