I come from the North of Ireland and I have tried to leave tensions behind me.

Here’s their website…

…and here’s their location in a suburb called “Acropolis” where I spent some of my teen years… :D

I meant tensions in the north of Ireland, as in the Republic of Ireland.

Right on GR.

It would appear the TRNC is taking over the reigns from Paraguay when it comes to harboring criminals, nazis, crooks and other scumbags. Combine all of the above with settlers flooding in from all over and there you have it. A perfect milkshake containing venomous ingredients.

The sad news is, Paraguay is finally starting to crack down and expel known criminals who seek refuge there since the 2nd WW ( including German SS).
No other country will take them. Don't be surprised if they all end up in the TRNC. What a disgrace.

TRNC = The new safeheaven of the world's most wanted criminals.

It may come as a surprise to some people, but there are hospitals in both parts of Nicosia.

Level of crime in the north is lower than in the south, particulatly for heinous acts.
If the EU really wanted to tackle the issue of criminals that may be residing in the north then it needs to formalise channels of communication (some do exist but obviously the Greek Cyp govt works furiously to ensure none are available) with the government of the north - obvious really.

Side note: Loise, be wary on the Cyprus issue, the Greek part of the island works relentlesly to portray the north and its people in the worst possible light - they are highly political and most of the argument is heavily flawed. By utilising passion to project sincerity and mis-information to blur the realities, they work to justify their oppressive stranglehold over the north.
Thankfully now the borders between the north and south are opened, you have a first hand chance of experiencing the whole island and making your own judgments.
I hope you have a wonderful time here and just be wary of people that are overly political - unfortunately it's part of the culture.

Perhaps it is their right to do so. I am still a citizen of the Cyprus Republic, if I choose to do so, I would avail myself of the services of the aforementioned hospital. Its simple.

The question you ought to ask is whether 'partitionists' use these services; then my reply would be different from the one I gave.

Even Denktash and Eroglu are RoC citizens or have immediate family who are RoC citizens. There was a news report naming high profile partitionists who were also RoC citizens. I don't have a link, but it was mentioned here a while ago.

I would say that there are many partitionists who use RoC health services. Don't you agree?
