A GENUINE SOLUTION TO THE CRIME OF THE TURKISH INVASION, OCCUPATION, ETHNIC CLEANSING AND COLONISATION OF CYPRUS WOULD DEMAND
1) The immediate and unconditional withdrawal of all Turkish troops from Cyprus soil as demanded by over 130 UN Security Council resolutions
2) The immediate and unconditional repatriation of all the Turkish colonists who have been brought to Cyprus from Turkey in violation of the Geneva Convention and the cost of this to be paid for by Turkey
3) The immediate and unconditional return of all the refugees to their homes and for Turkey to compensate them for its violation of their human rights as demanded by the ECHR
4) The right for the people of Cyprus to freely choose their own form of government as demanded by the EU Constitution without the barrel of a gun pointing at their heads
Four simple steps, you you guys fill hundreds of pages of garbage.
How about it Turkey???
Why should we do what you demand? and dont say its the right thing to do, right for who? GCs?
...the GCs too.
most importantly it is good for Turkey, and although the cost would be high monetarily, her image Internationally would shine. few have courage viewpoint, and to be held in that esteem it is based on acts. without this desire, like Kemal's, the Turkish people wither from a dogmatism that once they overcame.
in this modern world, we must change. "Greek" and "Turk" are current but it(they) is(are) not exclusive, our Identity as Individuals is not described with one word (except equal and that is as Human Beings). for Cypriots to end this Problem, we must in one way or another return the kindness of Mankind, who have given us this choice, as this island's dwellers, to end our subjugation, and to confirm our Pride for this Heritance, regardless our ethnic origins, so beautiful, old and rare .
...what is wrong with enclaves, what is wrong with one Republic, as well as two (or more) National Assemblies. Bicommunal, not Greek and Turk, but Person and Individual. ...and Bizonal instead of an island torn in two.
