Aussies are famous for Kleftico btw. It is called damper. They actually cook in the ground.

But the best meat I have ever had, was Kleftico Emu Meat cooked traditionally by Aboriginal Elders in one of our northern Aboriginal Communities near Broome.

I believe it is the Australian Aboriginals that invented Kleftico!

But I could be wrong. The Aboriginals certainly pre dated Cypriots.
