It's beyond delusion that a bunch of "Turkish Cypriots" being fast replaced by Turkish mainlanders can have an effect on Ankara!
You are such an arsehole. Its the mainlanders using TCs to block by Erdogan and his eu venture. How stupid can you get?
In a scale of 1 to 10 you score -100000000000000000000000000000
I don't think Erdogan will allow that. He controls the whole thing including fast relocating mainlanders into TRNC. It's the TCs that have to worry about it, as their "homeland" is invaded by others. Soon, Eroglu/Denktas to be sidelined and become azas or muctars, at best. The settler issue is in fact backfiring on them... what now Yfred? Any bright ideas? Please don't squeel your way out of this with rough language but rather provide a decent answer this time.

No need my friend. You have no idea how the Turkish state works. You have no idea who controls what. If they could use the only weapon they have they would have used it against Denktash. Erdogan tried very hard to get rid of Dengtash and here we are he is involved in the negotiations. That is proof enough that opponents of Erdogan are in control and will attempt to destroy him before the elections but if not, he will not win the next elections.
Turkish politics is like a latino novela... no one knows what is to happen next week... or at the end of it (including the director).
I am not sure who controls what in TRNC, do you? One thing is for sure, Erdogan managed to get rid of some of the generals plotting against him. How many more are still at large? Many. And not just military personnel.
Do you think Denktas is a tough cookie? I don't. Denktas is a weasel of a politician. He plays many roles... to save his own skin. The endless talks of Klerides vs Denktas was his golden age. He can still pull some strings but in the end we all know, he is small fry... perhaps his son can do better.
As for Eroglu, well, I think choosing Denktas as part of his team is like putting a snake in his sleeve... eventually to bite him... what a moron! Was Eroglu campaining that he will have Denktas as an advisor, hell no! Denktas was running his own campaing (but the deal was done), cheating the voters into Eroglu's trap. Good luck sorting this one out... Talat got the short end of the stick.
I remind you again, partition is not an option, at least for Turkey. So why Eroglu picked Denktas as a partner? Eroglu can promote partition by him self... who needs Denktas and for what?
