I had to baby sit family members who got stuck here in Switzerland for the past one week due to the "no-fly" rules. I just returned from the airport and that they are on their way home.!

Basically, Turkey chose Eroglu over Talat and that Erdogan was not sincere with his statements he gave last month when he asked the GCs and the world to "Trust Turkey". Talat was to win if Erdogan was going to be sincere in his statements. Guess what, he wasn't .! But having read "Wyoming Cowboy's" post recently, perhaps there may be a silver lining in the election of Eroglu, for him to be used by Turkey to bring the hardliners to accept a settlement in what the west wants. That was probably the best post "WC" has made since he has been here on the forum. Anyway, Turkey chose Eroglu behind close doors. My prediction was based on Erdogan being sincere for Talat to win. Erdogan would love it if Talat had won. Not only did UBP go against him, won despite his objection and nominated two people into the process that Erdogan would rather see dead. It wasn't just Erdogan that wanted it, it was UN and EU. The trouble is one person who could have helped him (Muhtar X) refused.
