Here's one ....

Humans have their heart on the left side of the body so that nursing infants can be soothed by a heartbeat whilst the mother's right hand is free to make bread, pick berries, do work ...

Why do men have their heart on the left side?

Yeah ... like, that's the reason for being! :roll:

Infants being merely "coincidental" would have led to a pretty fast extinction!

The heart should have been in the middle, if all things were equal.

That is actually an unnatural state of affairs. Therefore not factored in to evolution.

A knock on the head shortly after birth is what leads to the unfortunate "left-handed" inconvenience.

(Still, left-handedness is more prevalent in men than women.)

Because most women tend to be right handed ... the heart was selected to be on the left.
