The 23rd of April National Sovereignty and Children’s Day will be celebrated in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus with various events alongside with Turkey.

The 12th International Children Festival which was organized within the framework of the 23 April Children’s Day celebrations begins this afternoon with a cortege.

The cortege will start at 4.30 at the 10. Yil Park in North Nicosia from where childrens from the North Cyprus and various foreign countries will walk to the Ataturk Square where they will perform a show.

Childrens from the TRNC, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Poland, India, Pakistan, Ukraine, Serbia, Macedonia, Bulgaria and the London Turkish School are attending this year’s festival which will continue until Saturday.
