Tombs of The Kings road is not far away where you can drink much more cheaply and good atmosphere. Cash gets a good rate in the local kiosks, rather than the banks who will charge you commission and thus gives you a crap rate of exchange.

Beware!!! When they take your money off of you and put it in the counting machine it also checks for counterfeit notes, so when they give you your Euros ask for that also to be put through the same machine. Two of my friends, on separate occasions were given forged notes in return. One only got one 50 Euro note in his change and so his exchange rate turned out to be pretty poor, the other got nearly 900 in forged notes and spent 4 days in the slammer with his wife. After a lengthy and expensive court case they were proved not guilty and the kiosk owner now 'carries the can'. They will not return to Cyprus after this event.

Yeah, yeah! Any credible link to justify this claim, or was it the case of the wedding guests that were all wandering around with forged Euros?

They actually have a property up for sale because of this event. The kiosk owner is awaiting his prison sentence.

But you obviously know better.

Do not try to hide the type of things that go on upon this island to the incoming tourist trade. This is one of the reasons why people who returned here year after year no longer come. They no longer want to be ripped off.

It sounds like you are the head of The CTO ... not much of an idea about business.

Personally I would be much happier without the tourists and foreign pensioners here. The real Cyprus would have remained as it was, Cypriot, not Blackpool and Bournemouth with sunshine.

We didn't have many of those when I was growing up in Surrey and my business doesn't rely on tourism or construction, so these sectors have not contributed to my prosperity.

Did you benefit from education in Surrey, or did you get sent away to boarding school in Cyprus?

Due to the current economic situation is your business feeling any effects, thus affecting your prosperity?

The Grammar school I went to in Surrey was perfectly adequate and the current world economic crisis which is not due to Cyprus is affecting my business, as it does everyone else's, but not too much in Nicosia. My property is also still going up in value, is it like that in the British enclave of the Paphos district?

As long as you do not forget how your customers got the cash from to spend on your business. It did not drop out of the sky.

God does not make land too often, when it has all been sold off what will happen to keep people in the manner they have become accustomed to?

Where will you graze your livestock?
