Oh please you guys. You people make it out that Paphos is in another time zone or planet.
You won't find anything different in other towns. The same old dragged out, boring, commie block, ugly Greek adopted modern architecture, pot holed roads, garbage littered streets, deranged fagball lunatics etc etc.
The foreigner honestly cant tell the difference. Paphos is but a clone copy of Lim and Nic on a smaller scale.

Except there are only foreigners there!

maybe we can get paphos looking like a more European town. Clean streets, beautiful modern architecture, neat town planning etc etc.
Especially the British! Look at Australia, Canada, USA..the british have layed down the foundations to some of the greatest civilizations ever known.
Also the Germans!

Thats why Paphos needs to be bulldozed and incorporated into the Akamas National Park as a quintessential ancient town of Cyprus. An attraction but with restrictions on who can settle there permanently. (an investment of 1m Euros plus for starters.)

I would be happy if the'd bulldoze my summer apartment there too... at-least i'd get a compensation instead of trying to sell it.

Me too ray would solve lots of problems for many trying to sell.

At least the residents of these places pay their common expenses to the councils and the crap gets cleared up. Possibly then shipped to Cyprus and dumped in the nearest ravine to be on show to the few tourists that remain.

The 'concrete cows' were actually paid for, the same artist could have got loads of money for the thousands of refridgerators and washing machines littering the island. What a pleasant site!
