That makes more than 50% of TCs fascist partitionists. Now remove the mask from the other 50% and you will see that most of them are also fascist partitionists. I would be happy if the TCs could have some leader that honestly supported unification. But between a partitionist with a mask and a partitionist without a mask I prefer the second. Maybe you should also take off the mask and admit that you are a partitionist? Everybody knows this by now so why are you still denying it?

Sotos...you don't get it do you???? Nobody,not even myself,can "honestly" support unification until you guys come to terms with the plight of the TCs between 55-74... I am not just being bloodyminded about this..No TC will trust you while you keep denying history and blaming them for everything under the sun...

I will tell you something..When I first heard of the Taksim idea,and I was about 7 or 8,I burst into tears...I told my parents I will never give up my village,Istinjo,nomatter who says what...I was so distressed they had to tell me the whole idea was a joke,of course nobody would have to leave their villages.. My feelings have changed little in 50 years...That might tell you something..

These elections were not without corruption,intimidation and arm-twisting...The UBP used their government power (including BRT which they control now with an iron fist) for scaremongering purposes...Two areas voted overwhelmingly for Eroglu...Guzelyurt (Morphou) where people were afraid might be given to the GCs after an agreement,and Iskele (Karpasia region) where the people were afraid they might be sent back to Turkey after an agreement...Like elections eveywhere in the world,the people voted for their self-interest...I think it is remarkable that Talat has managed to win 42% of the votes under the circumstances...Eroglu fell over the line by less than 500 votes,if I am not mistaken...This result is no landslide for the partitionist,don't you worry about that...

I want to thank my TC compatriots and especially the more numerous Turkish Settlers for shooting themselves on the foot yesterday Talat and Errorglue are the same shit. They both want partition in one way or another! But somehow this Talat managed to convince everybody that he is the good guy and EU, UN and everybody else were going out of their way to make small favors for him to keep him in his position. You greedy fools thought that those little things that sneaky Talat managed to get for you were not enough? You didn't deserve them. You owned it all to sneaky Talat and sneaky Erdogan! But now you didn't listen to them and you voted for Errorglue!! You are such greedy bastards!! Thank you!

The EU are discussing direct trade today!

Maybe thats why Eroglu was elected...if it was imminent that direct trade would go through, why would Turkey want Talat in power when he can have someone like Eroglu put his foot right in it....and walk away without having to give anything in return...

...a bit like how Tpapa rejected the AP and walked away with EU membership....

That will be a turn up for the books, Eroglu can deliver decision on Direct Trade in his first day of Office.

Like the way he set the RoC up when Ban Ki Moon visited, by taking Moon to his palace knowing full well the GC backlash would really work against the RoC.

Most TCs I know thought these talks were a farce, and the talks were pretty much all Talat was good for. It would of been stupid of them to elect Talat...what for? So he can talk his way through the next 5 years?!?
