How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

This is a pseudo state, held by gunpoint by a much stronger country, these bollocks elections are meaning less, as I said it is Turkeys way to try and trump up recognition for the occupied miliotary state.

There is only ONE legitimate government in Cyprus, with international, UN, EU recognition and that's the RoC.

Geddit!

Ho well you can solve everything then? you dont need us.

Too bad for you. While on practice both Talat and Eroglou are the same for us, since in the negotiations they are just Turkey's puppets, Talat had the image of being "progressive", while Eroglu is seen as a hard liner.

Also this Eroglu guy seems uneducated and from what I hear he doesn't even speak English. Halil would have made a better pseudo president than him ;)

If it doesnt matter as you say then why does he have to be educated or speak English? you GCs alway contradict yourselves. I have just listened to his first speach and he is claiming a 2 state solution.....here we go its gonna be interesting to say the least, who do you think will leave the table first?

I am affraid so. Two things come to mind.

1. Is Muhtar X happy about his decision not to hold a joint decleration on achievements so far?
2. Will Erdogan be able to finish his tenure and then lose or will he be pushed out?

Where is Kickapoo to explain it to us. Where has the plan gone where Turkey was going to make sure that Talat won. That TCs cannot vote against Turkey's wishes.

Where art thou Kickameo?
Show yourself. We need you know. Lets put that dreaded plan on the furkin table. Now I am going to read it.

I would have thought most greek cypriots would be happy with these results, you can finally now have a scapegoat again for the lack of progess in talks. Its not as if anything christofias agreed with talat was going to pass any referendum in the south (or in the north by the looks of things), at least now you can continue pretending you support a bizonal bicommunal solution without having to compromise on anything.

We made a lot of compromises, you made none. BBF itself is our compromise, not yours, since what is legitimate is a unitary state, while your demands for partition are absolutely illegitimate. Of course this compromise will be made from us only if we came to a comprehensive agreement. Nothing is agreed until everything is agreed, and until everything is agreed the unitary Republic of Cyprus remains the one and only legitimate state and we are not obligated to accept anything else unless we like it.

When we say we support BBF it doesn't mean whatever BBF. It doesn't mean that the land distribution should be one that suits you, and that a Federation should be one even looser than the one of the Swiss Confederation. The land distribution should be fair, and the federation should be a real strong federation with a strong central government, like for example the Russian Federation.

Absolutely. This really might be seen as excellent news ..... the "image" of nice man Talat, the progressive liberal, the fluentish English speaker is gone, even though he didn't have the courage of his convictions to stand up to Turkey.

Now with Errorgluey being "elected" .... the Fascist Nationalist Hard Man, the out and out Partitionist and Long Live Tnucland; well, the EU and the rest of the world will see what is a too common hang on to the spoils of war Mindset amongst some of our northern friends.

This chap is gonna be a public relations disaster for Tnucland and a disaster for Turkey's EU hopes. The EU's not gonna be impressed with this bugger's lack of goodwill and the usual intransigence. Something's got to give and it won't be the EU.

Thanks northern friends .... you've made my day.

Are you in cohoots with President Eroğlu, he said exactly the same thing as you, "Nothing is agreed until everything is agreed," are you him?

If it was up to you to legalize partition you would have done it decades ago. Problem for you is you can't because the land you illegally occupy belongs by over 80% to us, and not you. It is not yours to decide for it.
