I would have thought most greek cypriots would be happy with these results, you can finally now have a scapegoat again for the lack of progess in talks. Its not as if anything christofias agreed with talat was going to pass any referendum in the south (or in the north by the looks of things), at least now you can continue pretending you support a bizonal bicommunal solution without having to compromise on anything.
We made a lot of compromises, you made none. BBF itself is our compromise, not yours, since what is legitimate is a unitary state, while your demands for partition are absolutely illegitimate. Of course this compromise will be made from us
only if we came to a comprehensive agreement. Nothing is agreed until everything is agreed, and until everything is agreed the unitary Republic of Cyprus remains the one and only legitimate state and we are not obligated to accept anything else unless we like it.
When we say we support BBF it doesn't mean whatever BBF. It doesn't mean that the land distribution should be one that suits you, and that a Federation should be one even looser than the one of the Swiss Confederation. The land distribution should be fair, and the federation should be a real strong federation with a strong central government, like for example the Russian Federation.
