If Eroglu gets in it's possible the Turkish ambassador to north Cyprus (aka "The Governor") will start playing an even more direct role in the running of the north. Ankara does not want another Denktas in Cyprus - but the Turkish army thinks differently.

The real question is who does he get his orders from. Military or Erdogan?
Then we will know.

The solution may well come after we have a showdown for this "precious" commodity.

Thank goodness we have the EU to support us.

Oh yes. Thank god for that indeed.
I wonder how many brigades they will send over.
If roc does not reach an agreement with Turkey, she will get as much out as Greece did in the last 20 years. A beautiful big fat Greek zilch.

I pray for Eroglu to win. May he then close the crossing points for the sake of all of us. Something the RoC should have done ages ago.

Then you will see the pressure upon Turkey to support these people. I wonder how long a bleeding wound would be allowed to remain open.

Good luck boys, see you in the spring. What!

Of course you do. I wouldn't expect a real fascist to behave differently.
