New macbook pros

Postby paliometoxo » Fri Apr 16, 2010 7:00 pm

so i was sent an email from apple telling about the new macbook pro.. 10 hour battery life on the 13 inch and 8 to 9 on the 15 and 17 inch models,, before i wanted a 15inch now i am going to get the 10..

it has more ram better processor more space including a new 512GB SSD!!! :D imagine 512gb of ssd, but it costs an extra 1,200 added to the bill :O costs more then the laptop itself!! haha

anyway maybe they will release another with the new iphone or make it cheaper.. link

http://store.apple.com/uk/browse/home/s ... 9201&sr=em

they usually send me links from america this time it is a uk link they sent me

I got a 32Gbyte Corsair SSD and ran my PC on it for two months until it broke...

Customer service was very good and they replaced it (I had to send the broken one to Holland) but it was very disruptive as you can imagine...

I now have a 500Gbyte WD Caviar Black with 32Mbytes buffer and a 32Gbyte ReadyBoost drive!

edw eimai re file :)

yes the 15 inch seems a bit small but the 15 inch when i see it from close the mouse looks far away form the keyboard, the 13 looks nicer plus has 10 hours of battery, i am going to wait until the summer maybe june to get it..

really frag? ssd looks good to me, but i never had ssd only sata

I would suggest to get a 64gb ssd for the OS, programs, games. More than enough. 512gb is just to extreme :S
