The eruption of the Icelandic volcano is just a small “burp” compared with what it really might happen to the whole world if the immense caldera sleeping beneath Yellowstone National Park suddenly decides to wake up.
This explosion would have global repercussions and would lead to extinction.

We must remember that:
"Civilization exist by geological consent, subject to change without notice"

This illustration shows the estimated extent of significant ash fall that would result from a major eruption of the Yellowstone caldera, reaching west to Portland, north to Edmonton, Alberta, east nearly to Sioux Falls, S.D., and south to the outskirts of Las Vegas.

Deniz
I really like this way of seeing the world.
This was my signature in many other forums in which I participated.
Finally there is someone who appreciates and understands!?
In Italy there is a very dangerous volcano, called Mount Vesuvius.
If this were to wake up then surely we should all say goodbye to Naples and the surrounding areas ...
Unfortunately the whole area around Mount Vesuvius is densely populated and continue to build despite this is forbidden.
The Neapolitans are indeed a very religious people and believe strongly that you just pray ... Saint Gennaro

Our Civil Service ( cannot translate well, sorry ) has prepared a plan for evacuation in case of danger, but I fear that very few Neapolitan leave their homes.

Lets hope that nature does not give you another Pompei and Herculaneum. The didsaters that befell them is enough for any country.

Ciao
