You may well be right, but this one is a tiny volcano. The extinction of Arsenal, ooops, the dinasaurs was due to the great meteor which formed the Central America/ulf of Mexico depression. Having said that when Hekla erupted a few tears back it apparently did reduce the overall temperatures for a few years.

The experts were saying that if Yellowstone erupts (North America), that would be catastrophic. It last erupted apparently 600,000 years ago. Another eruption expected aanytime within the next 100,000 years.
