china: too many men

Postby sniper » Wed Apr 14, 2010 2:10 pm

With more than a billion people, China has too many men. According to the latest census, an average of 120 boys are born for every 100 girls, the greatest imbalance in the world.

ship some here :) we need some variety :)

it's such a shame that many baby girls were aborted because they didn't want to be overpopulated with girls.

yeah this is bad. the result of the commie's failed one-child policy. families tended to abort the girl cos they wanted boys.

expect to see a lot of rape, prostitution and misogyny in china in the next few years

also countries full of single angry men tend to go to war

This makes it clear enough on their level of freedom.
I do not feel absolutely racist, but there is no doubt that the Chinese government and politics are racist. between them. The females have no rights, even the right to be born and to be loved.

many parents are complaining that they have to increase their family wealth in order for their sons to attract a girl to marry him :) when decades before they were complaining that the expense of dowry for the girls to marry was too much. don't mess with nature, should have been happier with all the girls :)

Just too many people, full stop!

But let's see over the next few decades if their numbers finally start to decline as these "fewer" women, who are treated like princesses and expect the greatest of wealth before they deign to find a partner, become too reluctant to give up their good life just to rear children.

It could be that the numbers start to decline because they're moving to other countries?
Here in Milan there is a large community of Chinese, have virtually colonized some areas of the city. I do not deny the fact that they are great workers but the point is: what is their way of looking at work? We often hear the news that the police discovered dozens of clandestine laboratories where children are forced to live and work in inhuman conditions. Although the Chinese live in a free country like mine, they keep the same rigid system of exploitation of child labor.
There are some areas of Milano where we Italians are afraid to go in the evening.
Now, who is free and who is the prisoner?

This happens because there is too much crime, because they and all those people who gravitate around their businesses unclear and poorly controlled.

Our merchants have closed and sold the stores because there was nobody who (because of what I wrote above) came to buy. And guess who bought the stores? Other Italians? Of course not.
Want to know what I think of this? I think at school instead of teaching English should teach the Chinese language. But now it's late.

The largest Chinese community in Scotland live in and around my town. They are pretty much integrated with the community on a mainstream level with catering the largest occupation. There don't appear to be any problems of child exploitation or crime. But the Chinese people themselves are subject to extrortion and violence from Glasgow-based Snakehead and Triad gangs. Getting them to make an official complaint is a problem.

to Eric : I tell you that apparently even if you go to Milan city streets not known anything strange. The problem is what happens in the shops and back room.
Unfortunately we do not yet have evidence of successful integration. The Chinese community is very closed, we know nothing of what happens between them. I have never seen such a funeral. Perhaps the Chinese never die?
To see the first signs of integration at best it will take another 2 or 3 generations. I'm sorry for this, because I have Chinese friends who are really good people, but when I try to go deeper about being immigrants they do not talk willingly.
I think they still do not care at all be accepted by us, have other things to think and to do, we'll find out in future.
