most religions have thier proverbs and were written for reasons,, the pig has been used in many countries as a toilet, and is still used in goa india for this , the pig is tied under the house toilet and eats whatever you drop,so many years ago the pig could transmit some nasty little buggers if eaten,,, also not having sex with a near relative is written, because god would punish you with a mentally handicaped child,,we all now know the reasons for these problems but 2 thousand years ago it was allways gods rath because they did not know any better...know where is my sister with the pork and stuffing sarny

Little known fact no. 27:

58% of outdoor defecation occurs in India.

It's true (how they measured that I do not know) the Government are trying to chnage this habit, but it is part of the culture :-(

Many of us had outside lavvys up until the 1960s and 70s, so I suppose the "back door trot" was the Western world's equivalent. :)

A credible link LOL!

Globally, 1.2 billion people practice open defecation, 83 per cent of whom live in 13 countries, the figures below represent millions:

1. India, 665
2. Indonesia, 66
3. Ethiopia, 52
4. Pakistan, 50
5. China, 37
6. Nigeria, 29
7. Brazil, 18
8. Bangladesh, 18
9. Sudan, 14
10. Nepal, 14
11. Niger, 11
12. Viet Nam, 10
13. Mozambique, 10

Rest of world, 205
Population practising open defecation, by countries
with highest prevalence in 2006 (millions)

During Operation Bararossa (the German invasion of Mother Russia in 1941, the german soldiers were advised that removing their trousers, to defecate, in the extreme cold conditions, would lead to frostbite and possible death. They were, therefore, advised to put a slit in the rear of their trousers to accomplish that act.

Pig's bodies contain many toxins, worms and latent diseases. Although some of these infestations are harboured in other animals, modern veterinarians say that pigs are far more predisposed to these illnesses than other animals. This could be because pigs like to scavenge and will eat any kind of food, including dead insects, worms, rotting carcasses, excreta (including their own), garbage, and other pigs.

Influenza (flu) is one of the most famous illnesses which pigs share with humans. This illness is harboured in the lungs of pigs during the summer months and tends to affect pigs and humans in the cooler months. Sausage contains bits of pigs' lungs, so those who eat pork sausage tend to suffer more during epidemics of influenza. Pig meat contains excessive quantities of histamine and imidazole compounds, which can lead to itching and inflammation; growth hormone, which promotes inflammation and growth; sulphur-containing mesenchymal mucus, which leads to swelling and deposits of mucus in tendons and cartilage, resulting in arthritis, rheumatism, etc.

sexual behaviour of pigs is worst among all animals they do disgusting""group sex"" etc.....study proves the fact that what we eat effects our behaviour thats why in western socities sex is no more a personal issue. today its everywhere anywhere and whatever
