When religion convinces intelligent people that in order to eat ...fish it must be Kosher then of course it leaves it self open to sarcasm from those of us who find religion quite hilarious at times.
Here was I in my solicitors office a few Friday back when his Kosher fish arrived !!!
How on earth can a fish , or a biscuit can be anything other than a fish and a biscuit.!!
No offense meant to my Jewish or Muslim friends

My Missus is a Muslim and she loves Bacon Butties. On the camp where I work in Kazakhstan loads of the locals who are nominally Muslim eat Ham, Pork and Bacon; then again they get stuck into the Vodka as well.

I know Muslims who reject the pork because it is forbidden by the Koran ... but I see that they get drunk although this too is prohibited.

Religion is not to be judged by people .. there are good and bad in all societies, cultures and religions

Religion is based scriptures (specially people of book) for eg, Muslims, Christians and Jews.

first thing first which each religion tells is to believe in one Single God. in other words "Monotheism"
and later comes the secondary issues.


if you want we can talk about Monotheism in a separate thread. I posted the video not to offend anyone but rather the intention was to share something globally.

i really would like to welcome if you want to start separate thread for monotheism so that we can learn from each other instead of what is people are saying about each other here

There are plenty of religions which tell you that there is more than one god - e.g. Hinduism.

you are right Daniella, Hypocrisy is the worst thing nowadays you see in people.. not only in Muslims

hypocrisy is disease spreading in young and old.. it is mental sickness. coz nowadays in good ethics and morals are not taught.

I have no problems with that - do as you wish...

I just don't understand why god freaks like yourself feel the need to convert others to your beliefs...?

you are right not only they drink alcohol, i know muslims. they don't eat pork they don't drink alcohol but they are adulterous and involved in fornication...

we should NOT put these kind of people as role models or use them to give example.

major news over the easter week was priest involved in sex and lot of greek orthodox priest are gays.

why should we talk about them.

lets open our scriptures , check our own faith first, clergy people are not responsible for our faith , on the day of Judgement they will not be asked for what we have been doing.

we are responsible for our own deeds.
