Speaking of Cypriot women who served in WW2, this former lady Attorney General was an RAF pilot. She was the first woman Minister in Cyprus and one of the first woman aviators in the history of the RAF. You have to dig around to find anything about her while there's loads of links to mediocre male politicians.
