When a simple sports victory fuels such stupid nationalist flames I think it is a thousand times better for Anorthosis to have lost the match. Regardless of what a reported said on TV, I still want to see Anorthosis qualify for the next round. You do not just go and lose a game because of what a tv reporter or others may say after you win it. With this kind of logic why even bother to participate in the tournament? Other than that I agree that there is no reason to mix football with politics. But when a Greek Cypriot and a Turkish team play against each other, I am afraid that this becomes inevitable for the reasons that we can all understand. Therefore Bananiot, I suggest that you relax and pray that Anorthosis will be strong enough to emerge through the next game successfully, because it wil not be easy.

So Fani Chalkia was probably loaded with anabolics? How do you know that? And if she was, how can you be 100% sure that her opponents were not just as loaded? Come on my friend, you can do better than that.

On the contrary, a less experienced team beating an experienced team like Trabzon deserves at least some good comments if Trs are not cabaple of giving congradulations to Anorthosis.
Underestimating someone has given Trs a good lesson on Tuesday night, we might be small but that doesn't mean we are not strong

We also saw the behavior of Trb's coach after he finished his statetment at the press conference, where was his respect towards Timur?, ANO coach, and to the country that she gave her best hospitality and behavior to the turkish delegation.

I've noticed the journalist's mistake. Have you seen the program until the end? He mentioned it correctly afterwards by say OCCUPIED FAMAGUSTA, therefore I believe it was just a mistake and nothing else.

Calm down Rafaella, its only football nothing politcal here and theres still next weeks match,in my opinion the underdogs did really well, lets see if the can repeat it next week in Turkey to go through, if not and they lose will you congratulate Trabzonspor???
