So if you get €1.13 instead of €1.12. you will make €10 on changing £1000! This is after you have buggered about for hours trying to find the best place to change your money.

Doesn't seem worth the trouble to me.

My understudy here tells me she always uses the Post Office or M&S in the UK to get her Euros before coming out - neither charge commission.

I too would LOVE to know where I could get 1.7 to the pound!

Past 3 months - didn't move much (low 1.0926, high 1,1621).

If anyone wants to change STG to Euros I can give in Cyprus at the moment 1.12 es to the pound with no commision , minimum £500 stg for 560 euros .

Get a Nationwide or a Society General account, the best rates without commission .... oh and no forged notes passed to you by a dodgy bloke in a kiosk. :roll: :roll:
