How quickly you forget 2004 when 65% of the TCs voted for a federation that had the support of the EU, the UN and most independent observers. You may not have liked the shape of the Federation, but it was GCs who voted it away.
You will have your idea of what is a "true federation" is. I doubt if it's mine, and I doubt if such a large majority of TCs could now be obtained for the same plan.
you forgot that if the shoe was on the other foot you would have done the same in 2004...so that is a non starter, dead and buried...
other wise if you would, now you would have gone along with a "true federation" like US, OZ and other countries....
the 2004 plan was not federation...you would do well to look at the difference between federation and confederation and which one the annan plan was modelled after...
expediency for the hell of it is a non starter...you better keep this in mind when refering to the failed plan...
