I think most people regard the Ramones as the first punk band, although the (re-formed) New York Dolls also dated from 1974.

I found the pistols fascinating; have their CDs and have read biographies of Sid Vicious. McLaren was an amazing 'Svengali' and an incredible marketeer - he wrapped record companies round his finger!

I know all about Malcom Mclaren. I used to work in Vivienne Westwoods design room, I was assistant to the visual displays coordinator doing all her visual merchandising and window displays.

I also helped out with her retrospective at the V&A from start to finish! From the beggining of her career all the way to the end...so I got to learn a lot about Malcom Mclaren...

This is me and Queen Viv at the private viewing and launch of the V&A exhibition... 8)

The geeky one.. :D

I was actually going to wear a tartan number that Linda Evangelista once wore...with a mini kilt, sporran, the works!!!

I chickened out at the last minute thinking it would be a bit too "fancy dress" and wore a vintage number from 1985's 'mini crini' collection instead... 8)
