What happens now????

What? chocolate in the pants VP?
Bad news for you a? Do not panic, it's just the first step towards the recognition of CyR :D

Tr doesn't worry about recognising CyR, she worries because she will recognise the fact that she occupies an EU country.
Tr can say what ever she wants while signing the protocol, it's not important. What is important is that sooner or later she will have to deal with CyR and her veto in case she does not implement the agreement.

Rafaella do you think we give a hoot whether Turkey gets in to EU or not, you should be worried because if they turn their back on EU and towards Mecca you will lose your veto leverage and the will be no more negotiations or plans to vote down as they wont give a shit about unification..

So, what's your panic then when you heard that TR will sign the protocol?
It's realy interesting how you people say that you don't care if Tr does not get in EU and on the other hand you keep your fingers crossed for Tr's EU bid. It's a good excuse but it started fating.
On the other hand why should you give a hoot if Tr get in EU? You already have your EU/CyR passport and you are an EU citizen

Regarding unification, you sound like you are looking forward to that and you are doing your best to achieve unification, on the contrary...

I personaly am all for Turkey trying to adopt EU norms but entering the EU is another matter and as Turkey tries to progress and improve in economic social etc levels who knows in 10 to 20 years will she need EU or will she turn around and tell them where to go, who knows, no one is kidding themselves the route will be long and thawt with problems, but when you look at it from the Cyprus issue point of view surely you prefer Turkey to stay on track into EU so you can have the leverage and veto power to try and obtain your maximilistic demands otherwise Turkey will not be bothered about the current status quo aand where will you be then in the EU with a divided island....hot potato in the laps of the Europeans not very good for you guys as you have entered the EU and taken all your baggage (problems) with you that will cause the EU many headaches for years to come.

It's a good excuse but it started fating.

What do you mean????

Regarding unification, you sound like you are looking forward to that and you are doing your best to achieve unification, on the contrary

What makes you think that????
