Money found in north Nicosia

Postby Tim Drayton » Fri Apr 09, 2010 10:03 am

The Turkish-Cypriot Afrika newspaper reports that retired teacher Yaşar Tevfikler has found an envelope with Greek writing on it containing Turkish lira in a play park in north Nicosia. The person who has lost this money is invited to contact the newspaper on 2271338 so that they may reclaim it.

 That’s undeniable evidence that Greeks colonized Cyprus!

...containing Turkish lira...

 And that they adopted the Turkish currency!

It’s a lure to charge the person for littering the park with toilet paper!
