Just to 1571? Your Ottoman ancestors were just the latest in a procession of foreign invaders. Cypriots saw all the previous barbarians off, one by one. Just like they'll see you off, you short-sighted Turk.

Turkey is in Cyprus today for the same reason the Ottomans were in Cyprus in 1571, you expansionist, land-grabbing Turk.

Excuse me??? I and my family lost all our land....It has been out of our reach for 36 years now....Your attitude is what stands between a fair and workable settlement...I don't care who or what you are mate...You are a racist and prejudiced slimy Greek bastard, and you shall remain so...I will put a curse on you now...I hope that if you have any relatives living in Cyprus, that they lose everyting they have and are forced to emigrate as far away from Cyprus as possible...If they havent already... YOU stupid moronic Greek!!!

You see, unlike you, I'm not at all sensitive to your insults as they're incongruous and entirely without foundation, you vindictive Turk.

I, personally, would be somewhat offended if I was termed as either. But especially "Turk", which let's be honest, no civilised person would want to be mistaken for, if they weren't really one.

Mal you are allowing your racism to shine through again. Every race has about 5% criminal element and Turkey is no different.
Stop it now.

No, it's just a cold, objective analysis of Turkey's (and the Turks') reputation on the world (or certainly European) stage. They're the national equivalent of, say, Millwall football club. For all sorts of reasons.

Justifying prejudice using others' prejudice is a dangerous game.

Tell them, you admirable, delicious, wise Turk!!!

Thanks Bir, but I must stress that I am only delicious in a Turkish delight kind of way to my lovel wives, cause I don't want princess of all that is dark to get the wrong idea.

Deniz you should be ashamed of yourself. You know all about the greek myths like Homer but you don't know about the great woman poet Sappho from Oracle's land?
She gave the lesbians the name Lesbian.

So? I am Cypriot. (There are a mere 17,200 "Cypriot atrocity" links and I expect most of these will pertain to atrocities committed on Cypriots by Turkey or the Ottomans).

DTA wrote:But I would like you to answer my question please.

You're asking a Cypriot - a third of whose country has been occupied by Turkey for over 35 years - why calling someone a 'Turk' might be considered an insult? Just stop it. And read through some of the links I gave you. Cypriots are not alone.

Vindictive are those Greek fanatics who want to take revenge on Turkish Cypriots today for the actions of the Ottomans in 1571....
Now be a nice little/fanatical Greek boy and get out of my sight, you stinking Greek leper!!!
