I, personally, would be somewhat offended if I was termed as either. But especially "Turk", which let's be honest, no civilised person would want to be mistaken for, if they weren't really one.

Mal you are allowing your racism to shine through again. Every race has about 5% criminal element and Turkey is no different.
Stop it now.

No, it's just a cold, objective analysis of Turkey's (and the Turks') reputation on the world (or certainly European) stage. They're the national equivalent of, say, Millwall football club. For all sorts of reasons.

Justifying prejudice using others' prejudice is a dangerous game.

Tell them, you admirable, delicious, wise Turk!!!

Thanks Bir, but I must stress that I am only delicious in a Turkish delight kind of way to my lovel wives, cause I don't want princess of all that is dark to get the wrong idea.

Just tell the lady from Lesbos island to get stuffed.

Which lady from Lesbos island??? :o :o
YFred, what do you know about the lady from Lesbos?????
You are getting me nervous... :?

No Bir, I did not mean the original Lesbian from that island. I was talking about a person who is not a lady and is from Lesbos and is on this forum. It's the irony that tickles my fancy.

Are you talking about Oracle? Is she really from Lesbos??? Or are you just making fun??? :?

You are not??? What are you then??? Someone storks dropped on Cyprus??? :) If you want to criticise what is going on today, you do not have the luxury to ignore what happened in the recent past to bring about the present...Otherwise you are blindly and with prejudice participating in GC propaganda activities a la Piratis...
As long as you keep using
Turk" as an insult I will treat you as a stinking, degenerate Greek Skunk... :)

Your worst nightmare. A Cypriot on whom you can't pin any of your "woe-is-me" perpetual victimhood. In the civilised world, one is innocent until proven guilty, you barbarian Turk. :)

You're only prepared to go back as far as suits your particular victim narrative. There's a lot of history on Cyprus. You do not have the luxury to ignore any of it, or wipe out its memory, which is what barbarians just like you have been trying to do to the north of the island. :)

Calling me 'Greek' is akin to calling me 'Belgian' or 'Hungarian' or 'Cornish'. Firstly it's random, secondly it's without foundation, and thirdly, unlike 'Turk', there's no poisonous baggage inextricably linked to it.

My insults to you on the other hand have more than a kernel of truth attached to them, you ignorant Turk. :)
