I, personally, would be somewhat offended if I was termed as either. But especially "Turk", which let's be honest, no civilised person would want to be mistaken for, if they weren't really one.

Mal you are allowing your racism to shine through again. Every race has about 5% criminal element and Turkey is no different.
Stop it now.

No, it's just a cold, objective analysis of Turkey's (and the Turks') reputation on the world (or certainly European) stage. They're the national equivalent of, say, Millwall football club. For all sorts of reasons.

Justifying prejudice using others' prejudice is a dangerous game.

Tell them, you admirable, delicious, wise Turk!!!

Oracle is NO typical stupid Brit,YFred...She is a typical Stupid Greek!!!

This marks a new era on CF...From now on,Whenever she calls us Turk-this and Turk-that...She will get Greek-this and Greek- that...I am sure the decent and honourable Greeks of this world will understand our nobble struggle with this lunatic...

can't imagine what purpose this serves Bir :?

Wasn't aware that being Greek or Turkish was an insult.

Neither was I, DT...Until Oracle and GR! started using Turk as an insult...
I decided that the only way to deal with a bully is with their own weapons...If Turk is an insult,so should Greek be from now on...But remember who started it first...

Anyone who respects Human Rights and Democracy will of course realise being called a "Turk" is indeed an insult. Due to their behaviour in racially ethnically cleansing nearly half of Cyprus from native Greeks. Also genocide denials. Also expansionism. Also shooting Kurds. Also article 301 ... Oh I'm too bored to go on with the number of things associated with barbarian Turks!

I don't think you'll find being called Greek has nearly the same level of degradation ... but of course you are a stupid Turk and will fail to realise the significance.

Put a sock in your gob,you Degenerate Greek skunk!!!! :D

This is so much fun...
By the time I am finished with you,Turk or Greek will seize to be an insult,I promise...

"Turk" is already insulting, not because anyone says so, but because of the Turks' behaviour. As for Greek; you have been trying to tar the Greeks with your crimes for centuries. And yet the ideals of Greeks are taught in the finest institutes of the world. But of course, they'd rather listen to you  ... a Turk!

If you honestly believe this objective analysis of world opinion towards Turkey makes me prejudice then, I'm sorry, you're deluded. At least Millwall fans are sufficiently self-aware to realise their behaviour means nobody will likes them; apart from other Millwall fans and Millwall-Cypriots. Ironically it makes them more endearing than Turks.

Didn't the whole world think Saddam had WMDs.
Mal when will you understand that the Turkish Military is under the orders of US. Very Simple really, they couldn't even fire practice rounds without the US approval.
Do you not see who the real enemy is?
Ask GR it's the only thing he gets in life otherwise he is a lost cause.

I don't dispute the nefarious role the US and her lackeys the British have played and continue to play in Cyprus. But that doesn't excuse Turkey for its behaviour in the region over many years, nor for its people's behaviour in all the countries they've emigrated to, where so many make so little effort to integrate; including err... Cyprus.

What has happened and is happening in Cyprus is the wish of the usa. The Turks are merely implementing it. She couldn't do anything even if she wanted to.
You should know better.
