Ha! You abandoned Cyprus to avoid military service! Now you refuse to recognise the RoC. That's a second abandonment. Habit forming, huh!

I lost my country because you bloodyminded fanatical treacherous Greeks went back on the 1960 agreement, forced us out of government, and made our lives hell in enclaves...All because you wanted to give away my country to a foreign power...Bloody Greeks!!!

You have it so wrong. Greeks are our compatriot nation. All above board, legal and recognised the world over. So stop bad mouthing our fellow kinsmen the Greeks, and our EU sister Greece.

But stay away from Cyprus since that suits you, being a racist against Greeks. Any chance you could entice some more deluded Turks like you away (about 300,000 according to your last estimate)?

If you stop being racist and using "Turk" as an insult,I promise to return to my usual self...Until then you will cop it double dose each time you open your mouth... :)

"Turk" is an insult not because you are a separate race but because your behaviour is that of a barbarian!

Change your behaviour and the negative connotations behind "Turk" will be removed.

... and peace and freedom will be restored in Cyprus.

Peace and freedom will be restored when all you stinking fanatical Greek Septic Tanks piss off to Greece!!!

You just can't resist your innate propensity towards ethnic cleansing, can you?

What ethnic cleansing??? Who is living in exile and who is living in Cyprus???
Listen you Greek leper...There is no force in this world capable of cleansing the filth that is on your foul body...So you are safe...

Exile? You left because you wanted to avoid Military Service and you now choose to be in self-imposed exile because you do not recognise the RoC. It's of your own making, Bir!

From what I know of Bir's history, he did not wish to bear arms against fellow Cypriots. Now he has discovered there are only three true Cypriots left - the rest being all Greek - he has seen the light.

Somehow I was waiting for this prompt. I tend to filter illogical statement from my otherwise saturated memory. I can just about manage with logical statements never mind the above one.
I dont know what efendi you are talking about, but it does not make sense to me. Did the GCs absorb the miniscule Turkish element since 1571? No. There lies your answer.

Personally or as an expat TC community?

The future of Cyprus lies with the Cypriots

You tell me where these questions are leading to Boomers!!!

I have not got a devious mind as you have.

i just question the fact that a minority could ever assimilate the majority as we are let to believe...i believe vp saying returning to his roots, and that is turkish...anything else is a fairytale told to babies...

also i do not understand your silence to this as i know you not only agreeing with my statement, staying silent without a reply or atleast making a comment advicing the effendi, how flawed and detrimental his way of thinking is...

i realise bir is joking when he says it...

I will stay silent if I am not fully aware what the topic was. You'd jump down my throat immediately. As I said before, I have no idea how the question arose. Its a ludicrous statement IMO.

Now, Papandreou is definitely on the pay roll of foreigners. He has just secured a 30b loan from the EU with favourable interest of only 5% and now he will go for another 20b loan from the international monetary fund. This is just to save Greece from bankruptcy and if one can claim that there are no political hinges attached to these loans he does so at his own peril.

bananiot you don't seem to understand the will of your compatrios...we have partition today where turkey is washing the tcs with settlers...if it came to a bad plan so be it...

in your mind who do you think has a lot more to lose in the long run?...with tukish nationals swamping the north...

why should the gcs support a bad plan just to please the tcs where even a perceived bad plan gives turkey an overall run of the whole of cyprus...

think about it...

so what you are telling us greece is gonna sell us out yet again...whats new bananniot, we are used to it...

and turkey will wash out the tcs with 1 million turkish nationals...great...

bye bye tcs...there you have it... yours and halis wet dreams coming through again...

What a nightmare scenario. Its a pity most TCs are blind and cannot see any further than their noses.

Yaaaa Deniz gardash, he is asking you to stick together to Hellenize the Cyprus.... when he hellenized the island he thinks u will be Cypriot... in his eyes you are not Cypriot now. Also bananiot is not Cypriot too because he is not following his recommendation. We, the TC's are well knowing these guys ambitiones Gardash.... I bet u do too.

Yes Gardash, I am a Cypriot, a Turkish speaking Cypriot, if I believe in that I will always remain so. No amount of Hellenism will erase that. Have we lost our identity as TCs? Yes we are, due to the influx of foreigners from Turkey. We were ok till they began arriving.

keep on thinking that and stop whining in another 20 years when the north becomes little turkey via the new generation with their roots planted on cypriot soil...70k poeple against 1 million and you are gonna win...yeah i must say the odds are with on this one...

but to be honest i can hear you today...the reason for our extinsion was the gcs...

already you are outnumbered 2 to one...in 20 years you will be what effendi?...history time and time proves me right...you have no hope...your future lies with the gcs...

you are a brainwashed dreamer...you expect anyone to take you seriously that the minority is going to assimilate the majority... ...yuo cyprus turk...the seed has been planted already, but your inability to see into the future is preventing you from making the correct choice today...

Deniz gardash i bet u noticed how TC's are caring about their identities thats why we have lots of groups in facebook .which i invited u too join in.
we are all caring very well about culture, about our dialog very lately people are saying very loudly about our idendity and no power in the earth can able to take it from us. Also those Turkish peoples from Turkey kids are very strong supporter of TC id Deniz. They call them self Cypriot too. Their fathers might think differently from them Deniz but young generation does not follow them. Most of us kids are married to their sons or daughters. 35 years past Deniz .... long time in human beings life. Have a look how the TC kids are growing up in UK. Are they thinking same as our kids? no way... they all grow up in different culture Deniz.

Dont get me wrong Halil. I am proud of our TC identity. Lets hope it stays like that and NOT become an alien one.

Thaks for the links too.

at this point you seemed to correct him indirectly, but he seems to think a couple of links in facebook is gonna helo the assimilation of the majority...

Bananiot wrote:Only imbeciles, dear Bir, can even give a thought that things will remain for ever as they are. In fact, one of the issues Papandreou will be pressing home today, during his visit to the island, is the fact that by the end of the year, if solution is not found, things will change a great deal, as the international community has just about lost patience with us and cannot hold the train any longer.

Its a pity most TCs are blind and cannot see any further than their noses.

it's becming a curse to be called a greek whatever and a turkish whatever these days coz thse 2 nations screwed as cypiots to the max...not only screwed but keep on screwing us...wtf?

for cypriots to survive we need to stick together, otherwise our fate is sealed...

Thaks for the links too.

you can hope all you like deniz but the odds are firmly stuck against you big time...no minority can ever assimilate the majority...take a look at zan's story in cyprus at the restaurant...

the question is did the tcs miniscule turkish element ever absorbed the gc majority?....

or better still have you absorbed the english...

come on man you have been to the north, you saw, why hold back...you know the tc future lies with the tcs...

where the hell is iceman when you need him...

NO!

I must raise my strongest objections to you cavorting with the enemy (Bumbo).

Sorry, I am blind; show me my enemies Yfred. Cypriots are not my enemies. Those that wish to give Cyprus away ARE.
