In fact, one of the issues Papandreou will be pressing home today, during his visit to the island, is the fact that by the end of the year, if solution is not found, things will change a great deal, as the international community has just about lost patience with us and cannot hold the train any longer.

Now, Papandreou is definitely on the pay roll of foreigners. He has just secured a 30b loan from the EU with favourable interest of only 5% and now he will go for another 20b loan from the international monetary fund. This is just to save Greece from bankruptcy and if one can claim that there are no political hinges attached to these loans he does so at his own peril.

bananiot you don't seem to understand the will of your compatrios...we have partition today where turkey is washing the tcs with settlers...if it came to a bad plan so be it...

in your mind who do you think has a lot more to lose in the long run?...with tukish nationals swamping the north...

why should the gcs support a bad plan just to please the tcs where even a perceived bad plan gives turkey an overall run of the whole of cyprus...

think about it...

so what you are telling us greece is gonna sell us out yet again...whats new bananniot, we are used to it...

and turkey will wash out the tcs with 1 million turkish nationals...great...

bye bye tcs...there you have it... yours and halis wet dreams coming through again...

What a nightmare scenario. Its a pity most TCs are blind and cannot see any further than their noses.

Yes Gardash, I am a Cypriot, a Turkish speaking Cypriot, if I believe in that I will always remain so. No amount of Hellenism will erase that. Have we lost our identity as TCs? Yes we are, due to the influx of foreigners from Turkey. We were ok till they began arriving.

Deniz gardash i bet u noticed how TC's are caring about their identities thats why we have lots of groups in facebook .which i invited u too join in.
we are all caring very well about culture, about our dialog very lately people are saying very loudly about our idendity and no power in the earth can able to take it from us. Also those Turkish peoples from Turkey kids are very strong supporter of TC id Deniz. They call them self Cypriot too. Their fathers might think differently from them Deniz but young generation does not follow them. Most of us kids are married to their sons or daughters. 35 years past Deniz .... long time in human beings life. Have a look how the TC kids are growing up in UK. Are they thinking same as our kids? no way... they all grow up in different culture Deniz.

keep on thinking that and stop whining in another 20 years when the north becomes little turkey via the new generation with their roots planted on cypriot soil...70k poeple against 1 million and you are gonna win...yeah i must say the odds are with on this one...

but to be honest i can hear you today...the reason for our extinsion was the gcs...

already you are outnumbered 2 to one...in 20 years you will be what effendi?...history time and time proves me right...you have no hope...your future lies with the gcs...

you are a brainwashed dreamer...you expect anyone to take you seriously that the minority is going to assimilate the majority... ...yuo cyprus turk...the seed has been planted already, but your inability to see into the future is preventing you from making the correct choice today...
