I agree with most of what you say but wont agreed partition bring recognition?

I don't believe there would be an agreed Partition...Turkey and the TCs would not offer them enough to make an agreement possible...So it will be the status quo followed by annexation when the time is right.

The way things are going you maybe right, it would be better than becoming a minority in a GC state, id much rather have Turkey.

Obama told Turkey last year in the Turkish Parliament, so that there was no misunderstanding, that Cyprus needs to be UNIFIED. He did not even use the word, UNITED. When Obama said UNIFIED, that was a direct instructions to Turkey, that Turkey cannot take any part of Cyprus....end of story. If you want to be part of Turkey, you are gonna have to go over by ferry, fly or swim. Those will be your only choices other than stay in Cyprus and build a Democratic Free Cyprus for your children's future and let them grow to become Cypriots.

Even you cant be that stupid not to see that we will never unite and that as time passes opinions change Obama today god knows who next...like it or not, ignore it all you want and make your lame excuses but time will guarantee partition forver.

Bir in the face of such narrow minded ignorance as displayed by Piratis how on earth can we expect to reach compromise and a solution? He does not regard TCs as partners but rather a insignificant minority to be crushed under GC hellenic rule, no TC would accept such a scenerio therefore we must arrive at the conclusion that we must now understand that this is as good as it gets and that recognition is the only real solution we can achieve.

We cannot expect anything with the likes of Piratis,VP...I am finally convinced...But the thing is,they know exactly what they are doing...They will never see us as equal partners,and they know we will not accept anything else...So their whole aim now is to scream the loudest about how badly they have been done by,in order to achieve maximum benefits from the agreed Partition they are working for....As for recognition,I dont think that is possible...Realistically we can expect to be annexed by Turkey in the long run...I am looking at the bright side...We might be allowed 4 wives in times to come...The challenge now is to stay young enough to enjoy the fruits of such a possibility...

Of course not. They can be equal citizens as individuals but not "equal partners" as a community. Such thing would be undemocratic and would be based on the racist descrimination and forceful segregation of the citizens of this country. It would be a form of apartheid. So of course we will not accept such thing.

You imposed such racist discriminations on our expense during Ottoman rule but today at least 2/3rds of our island is free and we will fight until the whole of our island is liberated from the foreign invaders.

You can call it "trnc" you can call it "Mersin 10" you can call it whatever you want, but regardless of what you call the north part of our island, the fact remains that it is our and you are only illegally occupying it. How can respecting what the vast majority of Cypriots want be "treachery"?

Your efforts to de-Hellenize our island failed and the Cypriot people in their vast majority wanted their island to be part of the Greek Republic along with the other 200 or so inhabited and another 6000 uninhabited Greek islands. How is having a united Greek Republic that encompasses all Greek population be "treachery"?

Treachery is what you did (if we consider you as Cypriots) since you collaborated with foreign Imperialists with the aim to deny to the Cypriot people their self-determination and the right to choose the way that our own island would be decolonized.
