South African Race War... WC doomed?

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

Grump you're right to point out that the aid seldom reaches the people who need it. Everyone knows that, including the Bob Geldof evangelists and NGOs who allow the west to alleviate its conscience while still accessing the natural resources that make the first world lifestyle possible.
Which brings me back to the topic of this thread; the World Cup is a rare oppurtunity for the world to invest in Africa in a way that isn't exploitative or misguided. And even the most lunatic of our political leaders recognize the value of that.

obviously we all feel sympathy for the little guy at the bottom end of the scale who ends up with the sh1tty side of the stick. and i do not dispute that there are many good, family oriented and hardworking blacks spread out across the world. but on a macro level there is something very wrong with black values and this needs to be identified and corrected. it's not my problem nor that of other white people; it's an issue within the black communities that only they can solve. they should not burden society with it.

another thing, you cannot tell me that we did not suffer like the africans. the greeks will take the pepsi challenge with any race when it comes to oppression. if you read your history, you will see that greeks were slaves for hundreds of years to the turks. mass slaughters, rapes, forcible conversion to islam, starvation and famine, you name it. we were lucky enough that our ancestors clung to their values and had the strength and tenacity to see it through.

don't think our generation could though.

This is just too much for words...
I pity the white people in South Africa.
Is there no way Cyprus could harbor white South African refugees?

Yes. Let's get rid of our own colonising Settlers, the Turks, and there would be plenty of room!

Actually O, that'd be a brilliant idea. Getting rid of 60 000 armed cockroaches and replacing them with hard working, family orientated white people!
That would be an asset and a blessing.

haha, I know I'm the ultimate racial apologist but I think I like that idea, tired of having to use a passport to get to the old Armenian quarter of Lefkosia. By the way, North Cyprus, particularly "Lefkosha" is probably more dirty and run down than the heart of Johannesburg. Of course, that will be looking like brand new while the soccer is on...

Dunno CBBB, but 50 murders a day in SA is a little steep for my liking...

Cops traumatised after attack...

'Pretoria - Police officials who attended a crime scene near Polokwane over the weekend, where a man was beaten to death, his wife was repeatedly raped and their 3-year-old granddaughter was assaulted, received trauma counselling and were addressed by a pastor afterwards.

"We were very upset about what we saw. We will ensure that we find the people who did this," said police spokesperson Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe.

Fifteen armed men overpowered a 54-year-old man, his 64-year-old wife and granddaughter at about 03:00 while they were sleeping on a smallholding at Dalmade outside Polokwane.

Ngoepe said the attackers had assaulted the man with blunt objects over his face and body.

"They beat him to death.

Filled with horror

"While they were beating him, five men took turns raping the woman. The child saw everything and when she started crying, they hit her hard in the face," said Ngoepe, still clearly upset, on Monday.

"It was a horrible scene. We were filled with horror. It was not pretty. A police counsellor and a minister were called to the scene and police officials received counselling afterwards.

Ngoepe said the woman and child were being treated in a local hospital. "The woman is badly traumatised.

"The motive for the murder is still unknown as nothing was stolen from the house. We also don't want to speculate at this stage that it was a revenge attack."

Ngoepe said a huge manhunt had been launched and that police hoped to soon find the attackers with the help of the public.

The unit against organised crime was investigating the incident.

"We don't want to give out too many details as we don't want to give the attackers the opportunity to use it against us when we find them."

Police asked people with information about the incident to call 10111.'
