For a 1GHz processor and a 16GB flash drive!?! Thats a rip off!!
Why would you buy an iPad when you can get a much much better laptop for the same price?!?
does the laptop have a 10 hour battery life?
No! But maybe thats because it has better hardware thats capable of a whole lot more...??
If you're going to carry that around, you might as well carry a full spec laptop instead!
It's just a large iPod touch...but it's pointless imo....maybe it's just me but I wouldn't use it at home because I'd have my laptop...I wouldn't use it whilst out and about because I'd be on my iPod...so I don't see where this would fit in??
With such crappy specs it sounds like the worst investment EVER!
if you dont do much on the web just simple web browsing looking up email and simple things then the ipad is perfect.
I suppose, but even then I'm sure you'd need a laptop to sync it, charge it etc....so really, all you're doing is buying an extra screen and a (lousy) bit of memory that you can carry around with you.
I hope they bring out a better one for next year. I really like the concept, but at the moment it's not as portable as the iPhone/iPod Touch...and not as functional as a laptop either...yet just as expensive!!
Seriously...with the amount you'd spend buying the 64GB iPad, you could buy a laptop with 2.2GHz+, 500GB+ Hard drive, 4GB+ Ram....AND get an iPhone as well....!!!!
