Turkey blames everybody but itself

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

The funny thing is, Turkey needs the US and NATO to hide behind. All of the power they use to throw threats around comes from the US and NATO. I hope Turkey shoots themselves in the foot. Who the fuck is going to back them up without the US, fucking Iran do they think Russia just going to decide to buddy up to Turkey if the US is gone. If they do Turkey is not going to be able to pull any of the cry baby threats on Russia. Go ahead and make threats and kick out the US see what happens. It's time to call out Turk threats.

Yes, you always know when the BBC sees a quiet news week-end coming up, it falls back to CY to fill the gap.

The US media never covers Greek news much less Cyprus news and they never expose Turkey for fear of threats. The Armenian Genocide debate was hardily covered. It's all about what is in the best interest of American politics, it has nothing to do with what is right or moral. If the US had an interest in Cyprus instead of Turkey they would have kicked the Turks out slapped them with sanctions, embargo, and limitations. They would have called Turkey the axis of evil. But since the interest is in Turkey they put the blinders on.

I agree with AmericanGC. And I disagree that the BBC 'falls back' on Cyp when news is quiet. They hardly ever mention Cyprus at all. Well ... I am not counting travel progs promoting holidays in the TRNC!

I have a pal staying with me at the mo who works in serious crime (mainly drug enforcement). He says the UK police service would love to see Turkey in the EU (because of its neighbouring countries and the traffic coming through them) to assist with their work. He knows nowt about Cyprus. Knew sod all about the separation of the island either. In his late 40s and a senior police bod.

There are methods, used to devastating effect not so far away from the island, that could ensure the BBC mentioned Cyprus more often, but I'm not advocating them. Are you?
