So where is that graffiti? Do you even know? Have you even ever seen it? Do you see it every day when you go to work or you look out of the window of your home?

I think there is a slight difference in scale between a mindless individual's graffiti on a Cypriot door and the state-endorsed defacement of a whole Cypriot mountain, halil.

Your words encourage the militant racists everywhere. Just check your previous posts whilst trying to view them objectively and you will see.

Why do they feel they have to choose? Let them have both, I say.

Bananiot wrote:It was a central slogan and none of the moderate APOEL supporters tried to do anything about it. Probably they were scared too. These are fanatics who use sporting events to vent their fascist feelings.

Yes. There are mindless, racist football fans everywhere. Why should Cyprus be immune to this form of tribalism?

Bananiot wrote:I know that many TC's support Omonoia and they mingle with Omonoia supporters for protection. It will make my day to see TC's and GC's fighting, hand in hand, against nationalism, be it Greek or Turkish.

Yes. Great. Let's all have a rumble.

Halil, your always looking to justify TC's concerns with an illegal act against GC's. Your thoughts are pathetic and you should rid yourself off these boards. Stop your tit for tat nonsense and grow up because your thoughts are senseless and destructive.

This as a european football team.
Football violence has trended downward over the last 15 years due to active and responsible management - as recent as a couple of months ago this team's management were complicit in promotiong hate.
They should be banned from playing until their management can stop such violent actions.

Note, not one arrest by the racist police!!

The media plays a huge role. Has any newspaper or journalist in Cyprus done an expose on the leading figures behind these thugs? You know the kind of thing, "Here is the politician linked to some of the worst thugs in Cyprus" or "This hooligan works as a civil servant" etc etc. The ringleaders should be identified then marginalised as deviants.

And what about the police? Are they doing enough? Are they tackling race crime like every civilised European country should? If not who is calling the criminal justice system to account? The media? The people? Nobody?
