I know Halil gardash...However it infuriates me when people deny the very events and experiences I went through as a child and a teenager in Cyprus,and try to revise the history I lived through and suffered from....Things can never be completely sorted out unless we all come to terms with our bloody past,analyse and accept the events objectively,and be prepared to change our opinions about certain things...Oh,and learn to say "Sorry" instead of putting all the blame on the other side...

Hang on a minute. We've already established that the Cypriot president apologised to the TCs, on behalf of his community, some while ago. The goodwill gesture was not reciprocated by Talat, who has still accepted no blame; which has left Christofias exposed and unable to take matters further in analysing and accepting past events objectively.

Don't make excuses YFred. Talat could have apologised, and then kissed a range of politically appropriate arses of his choosing, afterwards. Instead, he just has to kiss Turkey's arse - all the time.

So are you saying that you would have no problem if he met with TMT leaders and then came out and said sorry. Somehow I don't think so. There are many ways of saying sorry and what Muhtar X did is not one of them.
