What does that make the small number of Turkish-speaking Cypriots who never left Limassol? SCs?

Thats allways a problem to put a letter in front of C. Ok lets imagine that I only used C... better I think

You can use whatever you like Vuryek! Most of us know where you stand and where you heart lies, and that you were meaning C but only used 'NC' to avoid confusion.

thanks :)

Arif Hasan Tahsin has proposed replacing the terms 'Greek Cypriot' and 'Turkish Cypriot' with 'Greek-speaking Cypriot' and 'Turkish-speaking Cypriot', which makes sense to me.

That doesn't go quite far enough, it should be Turkish Cypriot speaking Cypriots and Greek Cypriot Speaking Cypriots. What?

I agree.!

If one is proud to be from Cyprus, then one can ONLY be a Cypriot. If the insecure and the unpatriotic Cypriots wants to add a label on themselves, then let them do it unofficially, but their official documents such as passports, MUST read ONLY as Cypriot..............PERIOD.!

Of course, and nobody would be able to tell a TC from a GC so no chance of any discrimination.

What furkin difference will it furking make, now that we have the wankers convention set up with the three top protagonists present.

Theoretically I agree with you. But I would like to ask for fun that, how should we identify my grandfather, who accepts himself as Turkish Cypriot, has a Muslim name but his mother language is Greek and cannot speak in Turkish? :D:D:D

The only discrimination that will be evident would be from both GCs and TCs towards those Lurucadi Gypsies. The whole village needs to be cordoned off and isolated, what!

You are right. Perhaps we should ask YFred, who seems to be equally at home in both of the vernacular languages of the island.
