Apoel Fans' attack over Turkish Cypriots (again)

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby DTA » Fri Apr 02, 2010 3:01 pm

Kikapu wrong again, The plates on there cars were what indicated to the 200 wanna be spartans that these two were TC. They were attacked because of their race.

Also there have been incidences of people being attacked on picnics etc, so your claim that it always being based around football is again wrong.

But as I said before, what should also be remembered is the fact that these two were saved by the Brave GCs that stood up to these 200 cowards.

But your right shit does happen, however the fact there were no arrest and the fact that there has been no widespread outrage in the south (to my knowledge) is more disturbing then the 200 spartan wanabes

Of course it does not make it OK, but at the same time, DTA's assertion that it had something to do with "race" is an idiotic one. If it was just because they were a TC, then why are there not hundreds of incidents every day in the south.?? Answer that question before you start your propaganda drivel.

DT was also attacked and got a black eye for it. Maybe his "race" said that he was a TC.!!

It is not what these idiots do that counts Palio. It is what the roc police and the justice system does that counts.
I lived it and that is exactly why we are here today. The police and the justice system were with them. The question is where do they stand now. From what I have seen of the court proceedings in the south, the language of police, prosecutors and judges, the TCs in the south get the same from the justice system now that they got then.

When a judge referes to the victim as The Turk, we know where he is coming from, Oracles arse.

well even the turkish generals say there is no such thing as tc and turks of cyprus so even the turks agree with them..

the police stop this kind of actions from gcs and i seen once a bus load of tcs in the south being followed by 4 huge police cars to stop anything from happening. so they dont have any law with them.

Palio, who gives a fuck what the fascist think. We have always been TCs and we will always be. Infact quite soon after the agreement, most of us will drop the Ts and will become just Cypriots. Don't read too much into what an elected right wing politician says, they are full of shit.

Assuming that said TC football fans were not speaking in Turkish and their car bore a south cyprus numberplate... would 'race' have been a factor since both GC and TC have similar Med looking features and skin tone? NO...
They were attacked by a bunch of brainwashed pavement punks with no lives, these same social outcasts that join football clubs to satisfy their need for belonging, and express their nationalistic political ideologies.
An excuse to riot and cause damage.

You may not be able to tell the difference between a TC and a GC but most of us can from a mile away.
You'll find the GCs are slightly more ugly.

How do you arrest anyone out of 200 hooligans who were kicking, punching or rocking the car. Unless you have evidence that can pin point to individuals, how can you arrest anyone, unless you want to arrest all 200 hooligans whether they all took part in the attack or not. Football hooligans are unpredictable. What did you want the RoC government to do, hold a national day of mourning for the TC's car getting beat up.?? Was there a National Day of appreciation in the north for the few brave GCs that held off the 200 hooligans.?? Aren't you people expecting too much from everyone over an incident that is just violence relating to the mentally retarded hooligans who get out of hand because they all get into the "group superiority complex" where they feel powerful. They are thugs and nothing else. Political situation in Cyprus does not help either. It just adds more fuel to the fire for these thugs. Despite all the political problems, these incidents are very far apart. Be thankful for that and not dwell on isolated incidences, or do you think for a moment if there were to be a settlement, that there are never going to be any crimes committed from one ethnic individuals upon on another ethnic individual as the case is in any country in the world, and when that happens, are you going to scream each time, that the TCs and GCs can't live together, so bring in the Turkish Army for a permanent partition.!!

The question you should be asking is what steps is the roc taking to eliminate these problems. I can tell you zilch.
That's what matters Kicks baby.

It seems that a Turkish Cypriot named Umut Aktoy had eggs thrown at his car recently in the north because it had RoC number plates!

How do you know that there are no other attacks in the south? TCs complain about it in the north all the time and some dont even think about returning due to the fear of being attacked.

Didnt hear about DT being attakced thats bad news sorry to hear that hope the TC police did something to find and punish the attackers.
