Speech at the March 25

Any nation which wants to survive in perpetuity of time should remember its history and to honor and respect the heroes and dead, who gave their blood for the freedom of the Fatherland. This, then, is why today we have gathered here, members of the National People's Front(E.LA.M.). The return value and glory belongs to the heroes of 1821, the warriors and priests, merchants and scribes, who obeying the voice of the blood of their race rebelled against the Ottoman slavery.

400 years of slavery came the Greek nation. A slavery that brought the population decline of the mass kidnapping of children, the Islamization and massacres, the looting of the misery and unbearable taxes. Greeks waited in vain for help and desired freedom from the Europeans. On the contrary and after each rebellion, prompted by foreigners, it was left to the mercy of the end of the impeller and suppressed blood from the Ottoman hordes.

Don't you think it serves a useful purpose in keeping others aware that him and his kind are still very much alive and kicking? Dispels the myth that some GCs propogate that they are all 'proud, modern Europeans' and want to see a solution to the Cyprob?
