I have just been given details of the above card. It is easily obtained by filling out a form ( not long winded ) from the Post Office.

You receive back a credit card sized card which you produce when in an EU Country.This entitles you to free medical treatment.

It is free as you are a citizen of a member country.

Does not negate need for Medical Insurance according to info that accompanies form.

None the less it is free to apply for so worth having and taking on holiday.

you can also get an euplus card if you have medical problems i have angina and the insurance has cost me for 2 of us £60 for a year

Thanks for the link.....thats the card. It is free and as I said the form is very easy, no pages and pages of guff!

We find it useful when going over to our property in the TRNC as we can always pop over to ROC for medical treatment.

You only fill out one form for a family, so not aa problem if you have 4 + kids.

Screw London and their red arrows!I hope they all collide mid-air over London bridge, the pickle or the set of East Enders. Use the Co2 Emmissions/money for something productive instead of phallic compensation. A Clean water program in an African Country or something would be better . What use are the red phallic arrows?

Cyprus is also full of Brits. Why don't they PISS OFF too! Indians, Africans and Pakistanis never colonized Cyprus. I hope they take over Britanistan and full Sharia is imposed with a Mosque every 20 meters. Then a few decades later they can ethnically cleansed the Brits too. If your are not Cypriot PISS OFF!
